Plaintiff contracted with United Van Lines (UVL) to pack and ship assorted household goods from Anchorage, Alaska, to Lewiston, Idaho. On April 2, 1986, UVL loaded goods and personal property belonging to the plaintiff onto a truck bound for a warehouse in Anchorage, Alaska.
