Appellant George M. Thistlethwaite brought this action against respondent Peter Grover seeking damages for injuries he sustained while engaged in repair work at respondent's rental property. The trial court bifurcated the proceedings to determine the validity of releases issued by respondent's home owner's insurer and signed by appellant. The court held that the releases were valid.
