This is a suit to determine heirship. On March 17, 1978, Bob Holley conveyed approximately one hundred acres of land in Smith County, Texas, by warranty deed to the appellee Sam Little (Little). The land was originally owned by Bob Holley's grandfather, Henry Holley (Holley), who died intestate in 1925. At the time of the conveyance, there were two affidavits of heirship, both dated November 18, 1940, filed in the Smith County Deed Records...
