TYSON, Judge.

James Darren Welcher, alias, was indicted for manslaughter in violation of § 13A-6-3, Code of Alabama 1975. The jury found the appellant "guilty of the offense of criminally negligent homicide." He was sentenced to 12 months in the county jail and ordered to pay a fine of $2,000 plus the costs of the proceedings.
