Clayous Royer, decedent, originally filed this medical malpractice suit in 1973 against Dr. D.J. Palmintier, Dr. Albert R. Corne, Jr., Lafayette General Hospital, and their respective insurers, St. Paul Fire & Marine Insurance Company and Continental Insurance Company. Upon his death, Mr. Royer's surviving spouse and two major children were substituted as party plaintiffs. Suit against Dr. Corne was dismissed...
