The various defendants in these consolidated cases were charged with various counts of obtaining money over $100 by false pretenses, contrary to MCL 750.218; MSA 28.415. In each case, there was a conflict over whether various amounts of money obtained could be aggregated in order to charge defendants with the felony charge of obtaining money of a value greater than $100 by false pretenses, rather than the misdemeanor of obtaining money of $100 in value...
