OPINION BY JUDGE COLINS, January 13, 1987:

This is an appeal by Old Republic Companies (petitioner) from an order of the Pennsylvania Workmen's Compensation Appeal Board (Board) affirming a referee's award of benefits1 and dismissing petitioner's petition for joinder of Rockwood Insurance Company (Rockwood) as a party defendant.
