Plaintiff Barbara Murray, individually and as legal guardian of her daughter Becky Murray, brought this action against the State of Utah for the wrongful death of her husband, Derlin Murray, who was killed in a highway accident. Plaintiff Bruce Murray, son of Derlin and Barbara Murray, was a passenger in his father's vehicle and joined in this action to recover damages for personal injuries he sustained.
