I. BACKGROUND

Plaintiff, a black man, brought this employment discrimination action, alleging that he was constructively discharged and that race was a factor in his termination.

Plaintiff was a John Hancock employee for thirteen (13) years. He started as a sales agent, selling insurance to clients in the Detroit area. He worked his way up through various management level positions....
