In this diversity action, plaintiffs Frederick P. and Barbara A. Engstrom, husband and wife, filed suit against Mr. Engstrom's former employer, defendant John Nuveen and Company, Inc. ("Nuveen"), arising out of Mr. Engstrom's discharge from employment in 1985 after more than 27 years of employment with Nuveen. For the reasons stated below, defendant's motion for summary judgment will be granted and plaintiffs...
