YOUNG, Judge.
Plaintiffs seek damages for the loss of their minor child's society and companionship resulting from injuries to the child which were caused by defendant's negligent treatment. Defendant's motion to dismiss on the ground that such loss is not compensable in Oregon was denied. The controversy was then submitted under ORCP 66 B, and the trial court entered judgment in favor of plaintiffs. Defendant appeals, and we reverse.
