OPINION

PANNER, Chief Judge.

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) brings this action against twenty former officers and directors of three banks which merged into one bank. The merged bank was declared insolvent. FDIC paid on its obligations as insurer of the depositors, and was appointed receiver of the failed bank. Eight of the defendants have moved for summary judgment on the grounds that the complaint is barred by the statute of limitations...
