On November 28, 1986, the Attorney General of the State of New York commenced an action in the New York State Supreme Court, New York County, against Crazy Eddie, Inc. and seventeen individual Crazy Eddie retail stores which sell goods, including room air conditioners, under the Crazy Eddie name (hereinafter collectively "Crazy Eddie") to enjoin them from selling at retail new room air conditioners which fail to comply...
