The Government commenced this action, a civil forfeiture proceeding pursuant to 21 U.S.C. § 881(a)(7) (Supp.1987), on January 2, 1986. The case came on for trial before the court on May 20, 1987 and continued until May 21, 1987 at Greensboro, North Carolina.
