PER CURIAM.

Defendant appeals as of right from a Wayne County Circuit Court order granting plaintiff's motion to vacate an arbitration award. We affirm.

The facts of this case are not in dispute. On August 6, 1982, the union, which represents patrolmen and corporals in the city's police department, filed a written grievance, contending that the city violated provisons of the collective bargaining agreement which expired on June 30, 1982.
