The issue for resolution on appeal is whether the evidence was sufficient to support the trial court's decision that appellant/defendant (son) received the benefit of monies loaned to appellant's father (father) by respondent/plaintiff (plaintiff) and is therefore obligated, along with father, to repay plaintiff. (Civ. Code, § 3521.)
