Today this cause also involves claims under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act ("RICO"), 18 U.S.C. §§ 1961-1968; article 21.21 of the Texas Insurance Code ("TIC"); and section 17.50 of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act ("DTPA").
