Following presentation of the plaintiff's Title VII case alleging racial discrimination in employment, the court granted a directed verdict for defendant/counterclaimant Color Tile, Inc. (Color Tile). Color Tile then presented its counterclaim for attorney fees, whereafter the court requested supplemental briefing by both parties.
