A jury convicted the defendant on two indictments for aggravated rape of a child and on single indictments for kidnapping, indecent assault and battery, assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon, and armed robbery. The defendant was sentenced to life imprisonment on one of the rape convictions1 and to concurrent terms of life imprisonment on the armed robbery conviction, eight to ten years on the kidnapping and assault...
