BROWN, J., April 10, 1986.
Plaintiff William Ferrante suffered a permanent injury to his left eye in an automobile accident on September 6, 1980. The lens of his left eye was surgically removed and replaced with a contact lens. According to his ophthalmologist, Ferrante has 20/20 vision in his left eye with the lens, but should have examinations periodically "to look for late appearing effects of his trauma."
