Defendant pled guilty as charged to assault with intent to commit murder, MCL 750.83; MSA 28.278, and felony-firearm, MCL 750.227b; MSA 28.424(2), and was sentenced to from fifteen to fifty years in prison on the former and the mandatory two years on the latter.
