Defendants appeal as of right from the trial court's judgment entered in this action to quiet title, which affected mineral rights (oil and gas) in land located in Kalkaska County, Michigan. The issue we are called upon to decide is whether or not defendants' activities near or on the property served to hold the lease beyond its primary term in accordance with conditions specified in the lease and its amendments.
