The defendant was indicted for the crime of murder, a violation of General Statutes § 53a-54a, and was convicted, after a trial to a jury, of manslaughter in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-55.1 He now appeals from his judgment of conviction claiming that the trial court erred in some of its evidentiary rulings, in several aspects of its charge to the jury and in its denial of his motion for judgment...
