Petitioner Robert Lee Cox is a prisoner of the State of North Carolina currently incarcerated at the Pender County Correctional Unit in Burgaw, North Carolina. He has filed a petition for a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. On September 14, 1981, the petitioner was indicted by a Wayne County grand jury.
