Invoking the admiralty and maritime jurisdiction of this court, these plaintiffs have brought suit against a flotilla of defendants. They take quite literally the century-old admonition that "admiralty may be styled, not improperly, the human providence which watches over the rights and interests of those `who go down to the sea in ships'."
