MEMORANDUM OPINION

TURK, Chief Judge.

Gene Willard Gaylor is a federal prisoner who has filed a motion pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2255 attacking his sentence as a dangerous special offender under 18 U.S.C. § 3575. As a dangerous special offender, movant was sentenced to twenty (20) years imprisonment, four times the maximum punishment normally allowed for an attempted escape.
