Plaintiffs initiated this action, alleging that defendant had defamed them. Defendant counterclaimed, alleging that plaintiffs and Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh (Rajneesh)1 defamed her in three respects and that they had conspired to violate her constitutional rights, giving her a right of action under 42 U.S.C. § 1985(3).
