This is a civil action brought under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 alleging violations of the plaintiffs' civil rights by the Town of North Andover and various other defendants. On October 1, 1985 this Court granted the Town defendants' motion for summary judgment and, in addition, ordered the plaintiffs to pay the Town defendants' attorneys' fees and costs, pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1988.
