Polay (Polay) brought suit against her former employer, The West Company (West), on June 3, 1985, under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), 29 U.S.C. §§ 201-219, for alleged violations of the Equal Pay Act, 29 U.S.C. § 206(d).
