John died in Little Rock on January 4, 1965, a few days before his 64th birthday. He was survived by his wife Blanche, 58, his mother, Norrie Collins, 87, his brother Herbert, 55, and three sisters, Mona Collins Milburn, 62, Avanelle Collins Rogers, 60, and Anne Beth Collins...
