Charles Nichols was involuntarily committed to the Kalamazoo Regional Psychiatric Hospital on or about April 1, 1979, as a mentally ill person requiring treatment. Pursuant to a demand by the Reimbursement Office of the Department of Mental Health, Agnes Nichols, Charles's wife and the appellee/cross-appellant herein, produced information concerning assets of the couple.
