In this action, the plaintiff alleges that the various defendants defrauded it of eight million dollars. In addition to claims of common law fraud, the plaintiff alleges violations of section 1962(c) of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, 18 U.S.C. §§ 1961-1968 (1982 & Supp. III 1985) ("RICO").
