This matter is before the court on plaintiff's motion for an award of attorney's fees pursuant to the Equal Access to Justice Act (EAJA), 28 U.S.C. § 2412(d)(1)(B). On February 24, 1986, plaintiff moved for EAJA attorney's fees and expenses in the amount of $8,954.59. Defendant has responded, not contesting plaintiff's entitlement to an award of fees, but strenuously disputing counsel's claim of hours reasonably expended...
