Plaintiff Michael Pierson brought this action pursuant to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq. He alleges that defendant engaged in race discrimination by terminating him for his employment and by affording him less favorable job assignments than white employees.
