ASPEN, District Judge:

The General Electric Company ("GE") fired Joseph Cebula ("Cebula") on August 29, 1983. Cebula, who was 45 years old at the time, had worked for GE for about five years. He alleges that GE dismissed him because of his age, violating the Age Discrimination in Employment Act ("ADEA"), 29 U.S.C. §§ 621 et seq.
