These actions arise from a manufacturing relationship involving St. Jude Medical, Inc. (St. Jude), Intermedics, Inc. (Intermedics), and CarboMedics, Inc. (CarboMedics). In Civil No. 4-84-267, St. Jude charges CarboMedics and Intermedics with breach of contract, misappropriation of trade secrets by illegal means, conversion, unfair competition and violations of the antitrust laws.
