Defendant Andrew Patton, 24, was found guilty by a jury of the July 21, 1983, armed robbery of LaDonna Thibodeaux, in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:64. He was sentenced to 40 years in the custody of the Louisiana Department of Corrections without benefit of suspension, probation, or parole.
