Plaintiff brought this suit against his former employer, the defendant, for wrongful termination. He claimed an oral contract of employment based upon the representations of a city council member that as long as plaintiff did his job he would continue to be employed. Plaintiff also claimed that he was discharged without cause on an implied contract that he would be discharged for cause only, based upon his reasonable expectation that defendant's policy...
