The plaintiff, Ion Juravle, filed a medical malpractice action against defendants M.N. Ozdagler, I. Haq, and Mercy Memorial Hospital in the Monroe County Circuit Court on April 22, 1981. The trial court granted defendants' motions for accelerated judgment on August 14, 1984, holding that the applicable period of limitation barred the suit. GCR 1963, 116.1(5) (MCR 2.116[C][7]).
