The petitioner appeals1 from the judgment of the trial court dismissing his petition for a writ of habeas corpus challenging the validity of his convictions of larceny in the second degree, conspiracy to commit larceny in the second degree, and being a persistent offender. This case is the aftermath of State v. Orsini, 187 Conn. 264
