On July 11, 1985, after a de novo hearing, the court found defendant guilty of violating section 1543(b) of the Vehicle Code for driving a vehicle while his operating privileges were suspended or revoked and guilty of violating section 3361 of the Vehicle Code for failure to drive his vehicle at a safe speed.
