Dr. Haim Elrad ("Elrad") sued United Life and Accident Insurance Co. ("United"), alleging misrepresentation in connection with United's sale to him of a life insurance policy. The case was originally filed in Illinois state court, but United removed to this Court under 28 U.S.C. § 1441(b), basing jurisdiction on diversity of citizenship.
