Appellants Mary Burton Fuller and David Lawrence were tried jointly before a jury and convicted of knowingly receiving a firearm after having been convicted of a crime punishable by more than one year imprisonment, a violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 2, 922(h)(1), 924(a). Fuller in addition was convicted of making false statements in connection with the acquisition of a firearm from a licensed dealer in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§...
