Following a bench trial in the circuit court of Lake County defendants were convicted of syndicated gambling (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1981, ch. 38, par. 28-1.1(b)) in connection with the operation of a gambling casino at the Green Mill Restaurant near Grayslake.
