Plaintiff's daughter, Mary Catherine Tillman, was admitted to Detroit Receiving Hospital and University Health Center on December 25, 1982. She died at approximately 7:44 p.m. that evening. An autopsy was performed on the body at the Wayne County Morgue on December 26, 1982. The cause of death was listed as an accidental gunshot wound to the back.
