The Plaintiff, Bank of Montreal, brought this action to enforce a letter of credit against the Defendants, Federal National Bank and Trust and Harris Trust and Savings Bank. Barton Valve was permitted to intervene as a party defendant and promptly filed a counterclaim for declaratory judgment against the Bank of Montreal.
