The defendant, Kenneth J. Langston, was charged with two counts of residential burglary, two counts of criminal damage to property, and one count of felony theft. The parties agreed that defendant would plead guilty to two counts of residential burglary and that the State would dismiss the remaining charges and recommend sentences of six years' imprisonment.
