The defendant was convicted by a jury of two counts of manslaughter in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-55 (a). On appeal, he claims that the trial court erred in admitting into evidence three black and white photographs of the victims taken at the scene of the crime and in its charge to the jury on the issue of self-defense.
