This case concerns the personal liability of an accommodation endorser of a corporate note and the avoidability of the endorser's transfer of his property to his wife. The plaintiff, Elizabeth Bizzoco, brought an action against Leon Chinitz to recover amounts due on six defaulted promissory notes, and against Leon Chinitz and his wife Mildred Chinitz to set aside as fraudulent a conveyance of property from Leon to Mildred.
