The petitioner is a prisoner at the Minnesota Correctional Facility at Oak Park Heights. After voluntarily admitting himself to the Mental Health Unit (MHU), petitioner was committed to the MHU for up to six months, pursuant to the Minnesota Commitment Act of 1982, Minn.Stat. § 253B et seq.
